It’s kind of funny since the post is talking about the writer’s graveyard and Halloween is just round the corner…

All jokes aside, this approach will often help writers of any level and it’s not just writers that benefit from this approach, filmmakers often leave the outtakes or deleted scenes in a separate folder for people who are interested in them, which are for either the comedic effect in the generation of a gag reel or for interested aspiring filmmakers to identify what the directors were thinking when they cut them out of the main film.
